Our client has doubled revenues over the last 5 years and they've done it the old fashioned way, through operational excellence and leveraging technology to take market share from the competition. They’ve received awards as Technology leaders in their industry 4 years running and are upping their game once again by leveraging Oracle Exadata running on Sparc Super Clusters.

They have an immediate need to hire a Sr. level Oracle "Production DBA" to assist with the implementation and migration to the new environment and are looking for a brilliant hands-on talent to help lead the way. You’ll be responsible for installation, configuration, performance optimization and tuning as well as day to day troubleshooting and support of the production, testing and development environments. Additionally, you’ll provide on-going support for Exadata, Dataguard, OEM and Golden Gate products.

SERIOUS CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

- 5+ years of Oracle Production DBA experience

- Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, apply patches, new releases, etc...

- Performance and tuning experience

- Oracle OEM, DataGuard, etc...

- US Citizens, otther parties authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE A PLUS:

- Large scale Database migration background

- Oracle RAC and/ or Golden Gate

- Sparc Super Cluster experience with Exadata

- Previous DB2 background

This is a FTE/ perm position and not a Contract or Consulting gig.
