Our client, a leader in the Financial Services sector, is once again expanding their Applications and Software Development staff. With a push on brand new systems design and development, they are seeking a talented Java Developer to join a team of 9, 1 of 5 Java Developers who will redesign enterprise web based J2EE systems from scratch leveraging Java, J2EE, Hibernate, XML, REST web services and the Eclipse IDE.

Specifically, you’ll involved from the beginning of the process interpreting design specs, developing technical specs (micro design), developing and testing code for this n-tier and web based solution. You will work developing for the UI, middle-tier and backend.

SERIOUS CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
- Local candidates (no relocation assistance)
- 2 to 6 years of enterprise Java (JEE/ J2EE) programming
- Solid core Object Oriented Development
- JSP, XML, Eclipse, XML and CSS for web development
- Backend database background (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc…)
- No sponsorship provided (FTE/ Perm position)

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE A PLUS:
- JSF and/ or Hibernate frameworks
- PrimeFaces and/or RichFaces (will train as needed)
- Bachelor’s degree

The client is just beginning the analysis phase and is motivated to fill this role quickly so they are up to speed but the time specs are being written.
