We are actively seeking a QA Analyst for a client of ours, considered as one of the best places to work. The successful individual will be part of an Agile development team and be responsible for the design & development of manual test cases, updating test plans and performing manual functional tests. This position is an integral part of development team and will work with the Project Manager, Developer, and Architect, as well as the key stakeholders.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Utilize business requirements to create needed test cases
• Responsible for test design and execution of test plans and manual test cases. Work closely with development to support testing needs
• Attend scrum meetings
• Perform root cause analysis on defects while tracking and reporting errors
• Apply a consistent and repeatable methodology to the testing of software

Experience
• 3+ years of experience in a QA environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to interpret business requirements into a testing environment
• Possess a customer-focused and collaborative approach
• Experience testing within Microsoft (.NET, SQL Server, etc.) development environment
• Database querying skills (SQL Server preferably)
• Experience with Team Foundation Server a major plus
• Exposure to an AGILE/SCRUM software development environment highly preferred
