You’ll lead the Oracle Center of Excellence team that supports this 1B division of the corporate parent. Specifically, you’ll lead the upgrade to the latest version of the eBusiness suite as well as be a change-agent for the business as it continues evolves towards one common ERP platform and establishes leading-edge solutions to improve the business supporting factories, distribution centers, and offices throughout the US and Mexico.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managed the distributed Oracle COE team and offshore/onshore contractor resources
• Manage consultant, software negotiations, and contracts
• Drive change for the SAS business as it evolves towards one common ERP platform and establishes leading-edge solutions to improve the business
• Develop and manage the project roadmap for each functional area of support to promote business growth and more effective use of the Oracle EBS application.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards
• Interact with centralized IT shared service teams to influence corporate strategy and ensure support for corporate-wide initiatives
• Program manage critical projects to meet targeted timelines and budgets
• Champion Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) and other continuous process improvement activities
• Manage $2M+ budget
• Develop and present presentations, strategic and tactical, to executive-level teams
• Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and innovative solutions that may help the business achieve its objectives
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• BA/BS degree required; MBA a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years of Information Technology experience
• 5+ years of people management (full HR responsibilities) leading teams of 5-10 people
• Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation and/or upgrade experience
• Significant experience leading employee and contractor teams, both onshore and offshore
• Ability to work in a large and matrixed corporate environment
• Exceptional interpersonal, managerial and organizational skills; ability to work with, and influence, all levels of management
• Experience with manufacturing and distribution companies is a plus
