Leading-edge manufacturing firm has an immediate need for a CATIA Architect. The client has a robust existing environment and is seeking to fill this lead role to further leverage the tool through automated modeling and Teamcenter PLM integration.

Specifically, you’ll own the relationship with the engineers/ users to understand needs, gather requirements, architect high level solutions and then lead the Development team to provide CAA coding as well as Knowledgeware and CATIA scripting to automate the process and create custom steps. Additionally, you’ll continue to evolve and implement modeling best practices for the design and engineering environment and provide training to end users and mentoring team members.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES INCLUDE:

- 5+ years of CATIA including V5 systems experience (architecture, design)
- Came up the ranks of AppDevelopment and support (automating models, configuration)
- Must have strong knowledge of CAA coding, Knowledgeware and CATIA scripting
- Strong BA skills – requirements gathering, analysis and system design
- Business Modeler background for CATIA (business rules, workflow process, etc…)
- Understand the interoperability of CATIA and PLM systems
- Leadership skills; ability to lead a team and deliver technical solutions.
- Experience with Multiple Model Links (CCP, Contextual, Published Elements, etc…)
- Bachelor’s degree

ADDITIONAL SKILLS A PLUS:

- Teamcenter PLM background (CATIA and Teamcenter integration – TcIC)
- Experience importing legacy data from CAD systems into the visualization capabilities of
Teamcenter (JT, VS Mockup, etc…)
- C, C++, Java and Perl coding
- Knowledge of advanced digital manufacturing and process simulation
