Leading-edge manufacturing firm has an immediate need for a PLM Architect who’ll drive the continuing evolution of their Teamcenter Manufacturing solutions environment The client has built a robust and mature environment and is presently seeking to implement the Requirement module, Model Based Engineering as well as update Engineering Release Management to drive their digital manufacturing and process simulation solutions using Teamcenter Manufacturing & Engineering.

Specifically, you’ll be the primary user contact for eliciting the goals and needs of the Engineering Dept to conduct “As Is” and “To Be” solutions, gather requirements, develop functional requirements and architectural deliverables as well as assist in design while leading the configuration, coding + testing of newly proposed solutions (70% of your time).

Additionally, you’ll act as the Project Manager for all development efforts to include developing project requirements, work breakdown, project scoping, rough order magnitude, etc… as well as lead the Developers to successfully deliver customized solutions (30% of your time). Also, provide end user support and develop/ document best practices for the manufacturing environment.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 3+ years of Teamcenter Manufacturing & Engineering systems experience
- Strong Architectural competence and deliverables
- Proven track record of Project Management success; deliver on-time, in scope, etc…
- Experience delivering presentations and status reporting to I.T. and Business leaders
- BA skills – develop “as is” and “to be” docs, requirements gathering and design
- Bachelor’s degree

ADDITIONAL SKILLS A PLUS:

- Previous hands-on development and coding within Teamcenter

- Teamcenter Administration or ITK tools for development and coding in Teamcenter.
- Understanding of how Teamcenter integrates with ERP and MES systems
- PDM information system infrastructure knowledge
