Client is a leader in the Financial Services industry and has recently embarked on increasing the size and scope of their Information and Application Security Departments. Presently, they’re actively recruiting to fill a need for a Sr. Application Security Specialist to help lead efforts presently across 2 LOB”s but rapidly moving to roll this out across the enterprise. The role will engage with Mobile/ Web Developers, Architects and Project Managers to ensure security is baked into the design process and all best practices are followed from design through development, testing and implementation.

Specifically you will assess existing security standards/best practices and make recommended improvements. Review source code/design for compliance and identify vulnerabilities in web/mobile apps and provide testing methods

SERIOUS CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING BACKGROUND:

•2-3+ years of Application Security experience (assessing and enhancing existing standards and best practices)
•Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection and industry standard Security and Risk frameworks
•Came up the ranks of App Development (web/ mobile development)
•OWASP op 10/Firewall Rules

ADDITIONAL SKILLS A PLUS:

•Serious digital/web/ mobile
•Financial Services industry background
•Bachelor’s degree
